Amazon is seeking a motivated, creative
mission-driven professional to support regulatory, policy
corporate comms for Amazon Leo. This is a unique opportunity to shape the comms strategy for one of Amazon’s most ambitious new initiatives
to have a positive, lasting impact on customers and communities around the world. Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite internet network. Its mission is to provide fast, reliable internet to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. The system is built around a constellation of thousands of satellites in orbit around the planet
will serve a wide range of customers globally, from individual households and small businesses to large enterprise and government customers. In this role, you will lead comms programs that advance global policy, advocacy
reputational priorities for Amazon Leo. You will be responsible for developing messaging, building and sustaining strong media relationships, executing successful campaigns and events
working with international teams to localize content and campaigns for different regions around the world. You will work closely with business, engineering, legal, public policy
regulatory teams to shape this program. As a key advisor to the business, you must demonstrate excellent judgment, earn trust with various internal stakeholders
be willing to dive deep into complex topics. You must also be able to clearly articulate ideas in both written and verbal communications, anticipate potential issues and headwinds for the business, find ways to simplify and streamline work
effectively advocate for decisions that protect the long-term interests of Amazon and its customers. Along the way, you will have a chance to shape the long-term vision for one of Amazon's most exciting new ventures
have a direct impact for tens of millions of customers around the world. Key job responsibilities - Build and execute comms programs that advance global regulatory, policy and reputational priorities for Amazon Leo - Lead communications for Leo community impact programs, including disaster relief efforts and work with regional non-profit and public sector partners - Build proactive and reactive comms around domestic and international regulatory filings - Partner with policy and regulatory teams to drive third-party engagement and advocacy - Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier industry and policy reporters
work with comms partners to drive local and regional media engagement - Support storytelling and campaigns around key business, policy
program milestones - Anticipate and manage potential reputational issues
7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience - Bachelor's degree

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications
