Senior Observability Architect

What You’ll Do

• Design enterprise observability solutions across logs, metrics, traces and events.
• Architect telemetry pipelines using Splunk, Dynatrace, Cribl and OpenTelemetry.
• Lead Splunk and Dynatrace engineering, optimization and administration efforts.
• Develop automation and observability cost optimization strategies.
• Promote SRE, operational excellence, security and governance standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring across engineering teams.
• Experience you’ll need to have: 10+ years in observability, monitoring, logging or platform engineering. 7+ years of Splunk engineering or architecture experience. 5+ years of Dynatrace administration experience. 3+ years with Cribl, OpenTelemetry or telemetry pipeline engineering. 7+ years of Linux administration experience. 5+ years of cloud experience (AWS, Azure
• GCP). 5+ years of Ansible, Terraform, Python and JavaScript experience.
• Experience that would be great to have: Splunk Architect, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, or related Splunk certifications.
• Dynatrace Professional or Dynatrace Associate certification.
• Experience implementing OpenTelemetry standards and instrumentation frameworks.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and cloud-native observability.
• Experience supporting Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience within highly regulated industries such as financial services, banking, healthcare, or technology.
• Bachelors degree in IT or relevant experience.
