Job Summary This job manages a team of experienced engineers, cultivating a culture of innovation and professional development. It oversees the design and update of software and web applications, ensuring alignment with business goals. Collaborating cross-functionally, it sets project requirements and timelines, manages the release process, and monitors adherence to standards and budgets.
It manages stakeholders, communications, and tracks industry trends, developing proposals for technological enhancements to drive continuous improvement and team expertise. Job Description Technical Expertise: 15–18 years of experience in software development with at least 4–6 years in managerial roles.
Strong background in: C/C++ development Embedded Linux systems Multithreading, memory management, IPC Video streaming protocols (DASH/HLS), DRM, codecs GStreamer or similar media frameworks Bootflow, BSP, device abstraction layers Understanding of RDK‑V architecture, Thunder framework, IPC, service managers, and HAL interfaces.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage large distributed software teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management across global time zones. Strong conflict‑resolution, negotiation, and decision‑making ability. Experience driving change management and modernising engineering practices.
