Job Description

  • LOAF maintains the single unified view of security escapes across all of Amazon and builds the tooling to prevent them. We don't just find vulnerabilities
  • we eliminate the patterns that create them. This role puts you at the intersection of security strategy and engineering execution at Amazon-wide scale. Own and drive programs spanning multiple organizations to implement shift-left security strategies that prevent escapes at their source Partner with engineering teams across Amazon to adopt LOAF tooling and neural network-powered detection capabilities Define program roadmaps that move the needle on eradicating vulnerability classes, not just individual findings Operate with high visibility to senior leadership, translating complex technical security work into measurable business impact Navigate ambiguity across diverse stakeholder groups with competing priorities to drive alignment and delivery You will thrive in this role if you enjoy working across organizational boundaries, can earn trust quickly with deeply technical teams, and want your programs to have measurable impact on Amazon's overall security posture. Key job responsibilities - Lead escape prevention programs end-to-end, defining milestones, tracking delivery, and removing blockers across multiple engineering teams - Drive shift-left security initiatives that embed vulnerability prevention earlier in the software development lifecycle, reducing escapes at the source - Partner with internal security teams to align on priorities and ensure LOAF tooling meets their needs - Own technical delivery for cross-org programs, translating security strategy into executable plans with clear dependencies and timelines - Manage stakeholder communication across all levels, from service team engineers to Directors and VPs, ensuring visibility into program health and risk - Define and track program metrics that measure real reduction in escape volume and vulnerability class coverage - Identify and drive process improvements that accelerate how quickly Amazon can respond to and prevent new vulnerability patterns - Coordinate cross-team dependencies and resolve conflicts when multiple organizations have competing priorities or resource constraints
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 3+ years of software development experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
