- Hire, motivate, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, providing them with appropriate opportunities to succeed in their career objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work effectively with product managers and software engineers on other partner teams to ensure the successful delivery of features.
- Ensure timely execution of key organizational automation goals and customer launches by removing blockers and reducing execution risks.
- Work closely with the leadership team to provide input on roadmaps and strategic discussions.
- Be deeply involved with engineers to architect and develop the best technical designs and approaches.
- Build operational excellence to reduce lead times and maintain the operations of critical services.
- Clearly communicate technical decisions and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of engineering experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification
