Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months , subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required , regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Job Overview The Recruiter plays a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent to support DePuy Synthes’ business growth across the region.
This role manages end‑to‑end recruitment activities, partners closely with hiring managers, and delivers a consistent, high‑quality candidate experience. The position offers exposure to diverse roles and stakeholders within a global MedTech organization and the opportunity to directly impact workforce capability and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities Manage full‑cycle recruiting activities, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, hiring priorities, and timelines.
Source and engage candidates using multiple channels such as job boards, referrals, internal databases, and social platforms. Conduct candidate screening and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit. Ensure a positive, inclusive, and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Maintain accurate recruiting data and documentation in applicant tracking systems. Track and report on recruitment metrics to support continuous improvement and transparency. Ensure compliance with company policies, local labor laws, and data‑privacy requirements.
Where required to be managed locally: Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures. Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.
Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field .
Master’s degree preferred. Experience and Skills
Required
- Typically 2–4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience , preferably in a corporate or agency environment.
- Experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes across multiple roles.
- Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate‑engagement skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and HR partners.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools
Preferred
- Experience recruiting in a regulated industry such as MedTech, Pharma, or Healthcare.
- Experience supporting regional or multinational recruitment activities.
- Exposure to diversity, equity, and inclusion recruiting practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with sourcing strategies, employer branding, and talent market mapping.
- Other: Language: Fluent English required ; Spanish proficiency required for local market interaction.
- Travel: Minimal travel expected .
- Certifications: HR or recruiting certifications preferred but not required .
