Program Manager
- The R2L Grocery Operations Integration (OI) team is seeking enthusiastic and high-caliber individuals to help drive grocery fulfillment innovation and performance to the next level. R2L OI supports the Under The Roof (UTR) perishable operations for Fulfillment Centers (GFC) and Same-Day (SSD) stores. Along with these core businesses, R2L OI has future plans for ground-breaking customer offerings to dramatically improve click-to-deliver speeds, product selection, and expansive coverage to create a best-in-class grocery fulfillment network. As a Program Manager on the Sortation and Dispatch team, you will support Outbound Under The Roof (UTR) processes for our Grocery businesses. You will build, improve, and roll out processes that reduce cost and improve quality across the network. Building robust processes in our stores to ensure a high-quality pick-up experience for delivery partners is critical to the success of the Grocery Delivery programs. You will own discrete workstreams within larger programs — scoping and maintaining project plans, developing and documenting processes, coordinating across teams, driving day-to-day execution, and communicating status, risks, and changes to your manager and program leadership. You will help track and report key metrics related to customer experience and capacity. You will support the rollout of process changes across sites, contribute to the roadmap that improves quality, enhances capacity, reduces cost through network standardization. To do this well, you will use data to make sound decisions on your workstreams, escalate ambiguity and risks early, and build an understanding of the systems, scaling factors, and boundary conditions behind how the network operates. The ideal candidate is organized, curious, and results oriented. You can prioritize your own work, communicate clearly in writing and verbally, foster collaboration, and consistently deliver against deadlines. You are comfortable creating documentation and status updates for your team and site leadership, working alongside operators and cross-functional partners, and diving deep into data to support recommendations. You are eager to grow toward owning larger, more ambiguous programs over time. Scoping and maintaining project plans, developing and documenting processes, coordinating execution, and clear communication are essential. Position can be located out of Seattle or New York City. Key job responsibilities - Own discrete workstreams within larger cross-functional programs, driving them to completion under the guidance of a senior program manager - Scope and maintain project plans, timelines, and trackers
- monitor milestones and flag risks and slippage early - Support the launch of new Fresh buildings and the rollout of UTR process changes across sites - Develop, document, and help standardize processes that reduce cost and improve quality and capacity while simplifying details for associates and delivery partners. - Gather, analyze, and report data (Excel, SQL) to measure program performance, and surface insights to the team - Build and maintain robust KPI reporting and dashboards for your workstreams, providing visibility into milestones and performance - Coordinate with internal teams, operators, and partners to remove day-to-day blockers within your scope - Proactively identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and ambiguity to senior program managers and leadership - Communicate status, risks, and process changes clearly to your manager, senior program managers, and site leadership - Contribute to the quality, capacity and cost-reduction roadmap through network standardization - Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to support the team's goals
