Access Network Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain global architecture for access layer networks Evaluate business and technical requirements to recommend networking solutions Oversee implementation of network designs and provide technical leadership to the engineering teams Assess and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, zero trust, hybrid cloud networking, WiFi 8, campus fabric) Define network standards, policies

• Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with the required skills to achieve our goals: Deep hands-on expertise with Cisco/Juniper architecture (wireless and access-layer switching) Understanding of the design and management differences between traditional controller-based and cloud-native, AI-driven architectures
• ability to define standards that accommodate both where dual-vendor environment exists Familiarity with network security fundamentals as they apply to access layer design across both Cisco ISE and Juniper Mist Access Assurance ecosystems Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, GCP or AWS) and interconnectivity strategies Strategic thinking and long-term planning Experience Experience producing technical documentation for internal and external purposes and presentation skills for architectural proposal Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: 10+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure architecture Prior experience leading large-scale infrastructure migrations or redesigns Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) Experience in integrating cloud-native networking with on-premises systems Bachelor’s degree in computer science, network engineering
