We're looking for a visionary, strategic Product Marketing Leader with deep experience in enterprise software, data management, and portfolio governance to head our Data Governance and Privacy (DGP) PMM function in Bangalore. In this role, you will act as the ultimate business owner for the DGP portfolio’s market success.
You will manage a team of high-performing product marketers and serve as the primary strategic bridge between global executive leadership, Product Management, Sales, and Corporate Marketing. Technology You'll Use Enterprise Cloud Software, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Master Data Management (MDM), AI/GenAI Data Solutions, Compliance & Risk Technologies.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do Own the Global DGP Narrative: Formulate and execute the end-to-end GTM strategy, pricing/packaging positioning, and multi-product messaging for the entire cloud-native DGP portfolio, specifically tailored for Fortune 500 enterprise customers.
Lead, Mentor, and Scale: Direct, inspire, and grow a team of world-class PMMs in Bangalore, replicating your own strategic framework to uplevel their capabilities and output. Cross-Functional Command: Act as the primary, high-visibility PMM partner to Product Management, Sales Leadership, and Global Demand Generation to align product roadmaps with commercial realities.
Drive Market Intelligence & Analyst Dominance: Architect and spearhead our analyst relations strategy to solidify and expand our leadership position in major evaluations (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrants and Forrester Waves). Own the competitive intelligence engine to insulate sales pipelines against tier-1 competitors.
Executive Presence: Represent the DGP business unit in executive leadership forums, corporate strategy sessions, and high-impact quarterly business reviews. Mastermind Global Launches: Orchestrate corporate launch planning, field-enablement playbooks, and disruptive campaign strategies for net-new products and major AI/GenAI feature integrations within the DGP ecosystem.
Be an Executive Spokesperson: Serve as a premier thought leader and subject matter expert at key industry events, press briefings, and executive briefing centers with C-level prospects. What We'd Like to See Portfolio-Level Thinking: The ability to see past individual feature sets to stitch together a highly complex, multi-product portfolio into a single, cohesive business value proposition.
Executive Persuasion: Proven capability to influence, challenge, and manage up to global senior executives and product VPs using data-driven market insights. Deep Persona Mastery: A sophisticated understanding of complex enterprise buyers—ranging from Chief Data Officers (CDOs), Chief Compliance Officers, and CISOs to data stewards and IT infrastructure managers.
Content Architecture Strategy: Rather than just writing data sheets, you know how to architect a scalable Bill of Materials (BOM) framework that accelerates the sales lifecycle from lead generation to multi-million dollar deal close. Creative Disruption: A track record of thinking out-of-the-box to establish new market categories and launch creative, thought-provoking marketing campaigns that capture market share.
Role Essentials 10+ years of total professional experience , with a minimum of 4+ years of people management experience directly leading product marketing teams within an enterprise B2B SaaS environment. Deep domain fluency in data governance, data privacy, regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), data lineage, or enterprise data management.
Exceptional executive communication skills—specifically the ability to transform highly complex technical structures, economic drivers, and regulatory hurdles into clear, business-value storytelling. Extensive experience directly leading tier-1 analyst evaluation processes (Gartner/Forrester) with a track record of securing "Leader" quadrant outcomes.
Advanced experience building data-driven, multi-quarter go-to-market plans and dynamically adjusting them based on pipeline analytics and corporate shifts. MBA or equivalent advanced educational background is highly desired; an equivalent combination of exceptional field leadership and relevant experience will be considered.
