- Join our Transformation Financial System - Audit team and help revolutionize how Amazon audits $45B+ in annual carrier payments across 400+ carriers in 20+ countries. Unlike typical entry-level roles where you'd own just a component, here you'll own entire problem spaces with measurable financial impact at Amazon-scale. Your code will directly govern transportation finance systems that ensure Amazon pays carriers based on contracted terms and planned costs. We're building a completely new product to automate audit processes using latest technologies including Agentic AI, big data, stateful services

Write clean, maintainable code for transportation finance systems that directly impacts $45B+ in annual carrier payments across multiple countries 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and ship features that automate audit processes and detect billing discrepancies 3. Build and maintain high-quality systems using best practices while taking into account tradeoffs, limitations

- stateful services to transform transportation finance systems A day in the life Your day begins with team alignment on problems to be solved and progress made. You'll collaborate with senior engineers to discuss approaches to solving complex transportation finance challenges, then write design documents and code with the assistance of GenAI tools. Throughout the day, you'll have opportunities to expand your skills through mentorship and learning activities, gaining valuable experience in both technical implementation and domain knowledge across payments, logistics

About the team The Transformation Financial System Audit team is responsible for auditing transportation spend to ensure Amazon pays carriers based on contracted terms and planned costs. Our systems currently process invoices representing $45B in annual spend across 400+ carriers in 23 countries. Our mission centers on detecting billing discrepancies through automated validation, enabling payment decisions that are accurate and on time for an improved carrier experience. We're currently building a completely new product to automate audit processes using innovative technologies like Agentic AI, big data solutions
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
