Electronic Unit IPT Lead 5 (Project Management) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Project Management Specialist (Level 5) position, to support the Electronics Unit Programs organization team based in El Segundo, CA .

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations. This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S.

Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program. Position Responsibilities Responsible for cost, schedule, technical, and risk management for high reliability electronic unit hardware development and delivery.

Develop and maintain Earned Value baselines and status to plan. Define required resources from space electronics engineering, operations, and supplier management to build cross functional unit level teams necessary to execute electronic units design, development, and delivery to programs.

Coordinate with programs and operations to optimize unit hardware production pipelines and deliveries. Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly program and functional reporting cycles. Perform unit sell-offs, project close-out, and document lessons learned for incorporation into future project plans and unit hardware roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor Degree or higher in a related technical field 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion 5+ years of experience working with military or space electronics 5+ years of experience working in ambiguous and fast changing environments Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) using EVM (earned value management) Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools Conflict of interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
