Job Summary The Payroll Time Admin/Labor processor is responsible for the administration, validation and processing of employee time and labour data within Deltek Costpoint and other timekeeping systems. This role ensures accurate labour processing, compliance with applicable labour laws and company policies and seamless integration of time data into payroll processes.
The incumbent will support weekly labour processing, perform reconciliations and audits, maintain system integrity and provide guidance to employees and managers on timekeeping-related matters. Key Responsibilities Timekeeping Administration Administer and maintain employee time and attendance records within Deltek Costpoint and other approved timekeeping systems.
Review, validate and approve employee time entries, schedules and exception reports. Ensure accurate recording and calculation of regular hours, overtime, leave and paid time off (PTO). Execute weekly labour processing activities while maintaining data accuracy and compliance standards.
Compliance & Auditing Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, including FLSA and regional timekeeping regulations. Conduct periodic audits of employee time records to identify discrepancies, errors, or policy violations. Maintain accurate documentation to support internal and external audits.
Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to strengthen compliance and operational efficiency. System Administration Configure, maintain and update timekeeping system settings, including schedules, pay rules and labour allocation structures.
Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT teams and vendors for effective resolution. Participate in system testing, upgrades, enhancements and implementation activities. Support data integrity initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Employee & Manager Support Serve as a subject matter expert for timekeeping policies, procedures and system-related inquiries. Provide timely support to employees and managers regarding time entry, attendance, schedules and leave balances. Deliver guidance and training on timekeeping compliance and best practices.
Reporting & Analytics Generate and analyse timekeeping and labour reports to identify trends, exceptions and process improvement opportunities. Support management with labour utilization, compliance and payroll-related reporting requirements.
Utilize data analytics tools to improve operational effectiveness and reporting accuracy. Payroll Integration Ensure accurate and timely transfer of time data to payroll systems. Collaborate with payroll team to resolve discrepancies before payroll runs.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Minimum 3–4 years of experience managing large-scale corporate timekeeping systems. Experience with Deltek Costpoint is highly preferred; exposure to SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems is advantageous.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, labour administration and timekeeping practices. Knowledge of labour law compliance requirements, including overtime and attendance regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting multinational payroll operations, particularly for US, UK and Australian payrolls .
Prior experience in labour processing, time administration and payroll support functions.
