Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: The Truist Legal Department is looking for a smart, experienced paralegal with strong research and litigation support skills to join the Litigation group.

The candidate will be responsible for partnering with the attorneys and paralegals on the Consumer Litigation Team to proactively and strategically defend Truist on consumer litigation, working on a variety of matters, including claims relating to deposit transactions, consumer lending (mortgage and retail), and collections/recovery activities.

The candidate will be responsible for utilizing a strong knowledge of consumer litigation, legal processes, and matter management to independently research matters, provide analysis and summaries, coordinate and participate in witness interviews and provide overall coordination and support in managing a docket of matters.

Resolve complex to highly-complex issues, transactions, or projects where significant professional expertise is required to apply law, regulation, policies, and guidelines. 2.

Investigate facts of a large volume of varying or complex to highly-complex matters, cases, or transactions, including by interviews with clients or witnesses. Organize, review, and analyze large volumes of detailed information. 3. Perform moderately complex legal research, apply results to facts, and develop and communicate legal conclusions. 4.

Draft and review moderately complex legal and business documents including correspondence, agreements, contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents. 5. Summarize matters, including events, facts, depositions, testimony, and interrogatories. 6.

Design, maintain, and/or manage one or more Legal Department workflow processes, reports, tools, and databases. 7. Maintain and update files, forms, databases, and records. 8. Interact on a professional level with other departments, internal and external clients, outside counsel, vendors, and others, including managers. 9.

Provide guidance and training to less experienced paralegals or other support staff, as applicable. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in an American Bar Association approved curriculum or equivalent education; or paralegal training program; or paralegal certification; or prior experience 2. Five or more years of related legal or financial experience 3. Strong understanding of legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures 4.

Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify and define issues, establish facts, analyze complex information, and develop substantiated conclusions with minimal supervision 5. Strong communication skills with the ability to express complex facts and legal principles clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing 6.

Strong knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices of legal research and writing with demonstrated proficiency in online legal research 7. Creative problem-solving skills with ability to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner seeking input of others as needed 8.

Strong leadership and relationship management skills with the ability to positively influence others and achieve desired results 9. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet multiple deadlines 10. Ability to manage numerous projects that require interaction with multiple attorneys, departments, and internal and external clients, including managers 11.

Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail and accuracy 12. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products Preferred Qualifications: 1. Certified Legal Assistant designation or have passed the Paralegal Advanced Competency Examination The annual base salary for this position is $83,000 - $100,000.

General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
