Who we are looking for Capital Management (a division of Global Treasury) plays a critical role in State Street’s global organization, both from a business-as-usual (BAU) perspective and with regard to regulatory capital requirements. Functional areas include capital planning and forecasting, strategy, stress testing, recovery and resolution planning and project management.

Capital Management is a key business partner for all client-facing business units, sales teams, and relationship managers. This position is within the EMEA Capital Management team and will be a key contributor with State Street Bank International GmbH’s capital management efforts as well as international capital management related efforts.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including Finance, Risk, Treasury, Business (First Line of Defense), senior management and others. What you will be responsible for As Capital Management Analyst, you will Prepare and Execute SSBI’s annual capital plan and capital policy updates as well as any associated governance and presentations Lead efforts related to recovery and resolution planning, stress testing and financial forecasting in SSBI as needed Support Global Treasury initiatives to optimize, manage and deploy SSBI’s capital and balance sheet profiles Contribute to efforts to address complex regulatory challenges and drive initiatives set out for Global Treasury from our regulators across the globe Work across global risk stripes to ensure SSBI’s capital strategy is aligned with global initiatives Support efforts to manage both SSBI and SSBT’s capital strategy through analysing data and preparing management presentations Maintain risk excellence by challenging assumptions, escalating potential issues and executing required controls to support oversight and governance requirements What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role Working knowledge of capital regulations and how balance sheets, P&Ls and businesses impact a banks overall capital position and strategy Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders Understanding of global regulatory rules and expectations with the ability to effectively communicate with global regulators on a frequent basis Ability to create concise and influential presentation materials Ability to think critically to understand existing problems and identify opportunities for solutions Ability to interpret and analyse data sets with minimal direction in a time sensitive environment Ability to work independently and in a global environment across several time zones Strong PC skills, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, as well as the ability to leverage AI in everyday tasks Education & Preferred Qualifications 3+ years' experience in financial services with exposure to capital management, and capital forecasting, finance, balance sheet management or risk management History of collaborating across multiple business units and establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Experience with regulatory communication and a strong understanding of supervisory expectations of regulators About State Street Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
