The Difference You Make: Active Credit Portfolio Management (ACPM), sits within CIB Finance and is responsible for managing the division’s capital, balance sheet usage, and profitability through portfolio analysis, capital monitoring, and efficient allocation of financial resources.

The CIB Finance Analyst, supports analysis and execution across balance sheet management, capital planning & allocation, funding, investment portfolio management and distribution activities. The incumbent provides analytical support to help assess balance sheet efficiency, capital usage, portfolio profitability, and related risk management priorities.

The Analyst partners with senior team members and internal stakeholders on reporting, perform financial analysis, validate data, support forecasting and planning activities, and contribute to process improvements across ACPM and broader capital management processes.

Support analysis, reporting, and monitoring across ACPM activities, including capital management and allocation, balance sheet optimization, profitability management, funding, market risk, and investment portfolio management. Perform financial analysis, forecasting, variance investigations, reconciliations, and profitability assessments to support balance sheet management, capital efficiency, and revenue realization objectives.

Prepare and maintain recurring reporting and analytical materials related to balance sheet trends, revenue forecasts, capital usage, client profitability, portfolio performance, and business-line results. Support the business admissions process by coordinating with stakeholders to gather, validate, and analyze financial, risk, capital, liquidity, and strategic information for management and committee review.

Monitor client business plans, pipeline activity, balance sheet utilization, and revenue performance against forecasts; identify key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate findings to senior team members. Validate the accuracy and integrity of financial, operational, and risk data used in reporting, forecasting, modeling, and decision-making processes, while identifying opportunities to improve data quality and reporting efficiency through automation and enhanced analytics.

Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, risk limits, governance standards, stress testing requirements, and internal controls, including support for SOX-related controls and documentation. Partner with Finance, Treasury, Risk, relationship management, and business-line stakeholders to support Asset-Liability Management, Capital Allocation, Recovery & Resolution, portfolio management initiatives, strategic projects, and process improvement efforts

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service
  • education - Required Qualifications: 3+ Years Financial planning, analysis or related experience - Required. 3+ Years Experience in Asset-Liability Management, Liquidity Risk Management, Cash Management, Capital Management, Capital Allocation - Preferred. 3+ Years Recovery & Resolution, Interest-Rate Risk Management, Funds Transfer Pricing - Preferred.
  • Ability to work well within a team, prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in interacting with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills.
  • Detail oriented with ability to research, organize and analyze financial data.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Advanced in MS Word, MIS Excel, QRM, MS Outlook.
  • Certifications: CFA: ( Chartered Financial Analyst ) - Preferred.

  • What Else You Need To Know: The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range.
  • For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week.
  • The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
