Electrical Maintainers - Fixed Plant - FIFO
About the role Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs We are looking for Electrical Maintainers (Fixed Plant) for upcoming opportunities who are interested in joining our Wet and Dry Plant Maintenance teams across our various Pilbara sites.
You’ll be part of a friendly and high performing team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll either work 8 days on, 6 off, or 8 days on, 6 off, 7 nights on, 7 off roster depending on the requirement which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the Supervisor, you will: Carrying-out scheduled and planned maintenance to enhance the reliability and quality of Fixed Plant equipment Reporting Issues: Identify and report on problems related to plant assets, practices, and procedures.
Carry out component change outs in both planned and breakdown situations. Undertaking fault finding / troubleshooting of electrical based faults. Utilising SAP to record maintenance activities. Identifying opportunities for improvement in the equipment or work procedures.
Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with Mine Safety Inspection Regulations Act. About you A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team An Electrical Trade qualification and unrestricted WA A Grade Electrical Licence Experience with Fixed Plant equipment, in particular Dumpers, Ship loaders, reclaimers, stackers and Conveyor belts A manual C Class driver’s licence Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve results Fault finding skills with ability to read schematics Positive and proactive attitude.
