- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable AI platform services and distributed microservices.
- Own end-to-end delivery of sophisticated product features from technical design through production deployment and Operational support.
- Drive architecture and design discussions while ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Build cloud-native services, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve observability. AI Platform & Cloud Technologies
- Design and integrate AI platform capabilities using LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, and MCP.
- Build scalable AI orchestration pipelines.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and contribute to platform architecture.
- Build AI-powered products used globally.
- Work on cutting-edge AI, cloud, distributed systems, and cybersecurity.
- Own high-impact initiatives from concept to production.
- Collaborate with world-class engineers and grow your technical expertise. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software design principles.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience designing cloud-native microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL/NoSQL databases, REST APIs, cloud platforms, and CI/CD. Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of MCP, AI Agents, Agentic AI, RAG, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
- Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, gRPC, OAuth, and API security.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar.
- Exposure to Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven track record to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers. Why Cisco?
