Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.
Apply comprehensive IT knowledge to solve complex business challenges with innovative, objective-aligned solutions. Manage and contribute to large-scope projects autonomously, with general guidance on new initiatives. Configure/test/implement changes to WMS applications to improve warehouse processes.
Troubleshoot application and user issues; ability to resolve or escalate effectively. Effectively manage multiple tasks, providing clear workload and priority insights to management. May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues. Proactively identify and recommend strategic process enhancements to stakeholders.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience 6+ years’ experience in related field preferred Previous experience with Functional implementations and configurations in Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan Active experience is required) Proven knowledge of warehouse operational processes and experience in leading warehouse management system configuration efforts.
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain business processes Demonstrated experience with full life cycle, large scale project implementations using structured SDLC and Agile methodologies Knowledge of Manhattan Active APIs that can be used for data analysis and troubleshooting of data Experience with defining and implementing configuration changes to WMS applications that support and improve processes Proven skills with end-to-end process mapping and functional requirements definition, ensuring requirements align with project scope and strategy.
Ability to mediate and foster collaboration across IT teams to design and deliver solutions, leveraging existing capabilities. Ability to lead testing, verification, validation of requirements and solutions, and create test plans and scripts as needed in support of Team Members executing testing Experience executing and documenting test results in JIRA or equivalent tools Ability to instruct users on the proper and efficient usage of the system(s) and create supporting documentation as needed Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software application malfunctions and errors, as well as user problems, resolving them or escalating as necessary Previous experience with testing automation is desirable What is expected of you and others at this level?
