Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech The Product Value Stream Leader is a highly visible position with responsibility for supporting the development and execution of the End to End (E2E) Supply Chain initiatives within the Shoulder Platform. This is an entrepreneurial role, with a mix of strategic and tactical elements that operates within a multi-functional and global environment. Serves as the leader of a portfolio of projects and processes across a broad range of product value streams. Primary responsibility is to optimize supply chain process performance based upon end-to-end thinking, making conscious-profitable tradeoffs, and overall product ownership. This role will ensure attainment of Business Objectives and drive Functional Excellence and Accountability. This role will connect Supply Chain, Commercial, and R&D partners to develop customer-centric Life Cycle strategies that deliver franchise objectives. Tasks, duties, and responsibilities are listed below. Responsibilities:
- Maximize the impact of Supply Chain management by maturing the End-to-End Operating model. Will work under the limited guidance of the End-to-End Supply Chain Leader and will have flexibility in leading the Supply Chain Team.
- Must be results-oriented! Demonstrating strong facilitator and influencing skills and be able to drive a team towards a final decision in an environment with high levels of ambiguity, complexity
- risk. Working across functional boundaries, aligning with partners on a roadmap for change

- Continuously improve the E2E supply chain performance by owning the application of the Johnson & Johnson Operating System (JJOS) processes. Deliverables will include the development and deployment of: Product Strategy Roadmap (PSR), Life-cycle Portfolio Prioritization, Product Performance Management, Issue Management, Stakeholder Management
- Portfolio Optimization.
- Measure supply chain process performance, collect and analyze data, develop new data analysis methods and techniques to provide deep insights. Build new digital analytical capabilities within the supply chain. Identify opportunities where proactive escalation my be necessary when business objectives are at risk.
- Facilitate the development, creation
- refresh of the Product Strategy Roadmap (PSR). Collaborate with key business partners to identify a broad set of cross-functional needs and build consensus on product, process
- people priorities. Explore external threats and business imperatives and incorporate into strategy. Optimize overall performance by taking the output from the PSR and developing, deploying
- implementing improvements to make for a more responsive, agile
- flexible production system to better meet customer requirements (examples: cycle-time reduction, E2E capacity increases, new manufacturing and processing technologies, supply chain digitization, SKU rationalization, product design improvements, cost savings
- supply chain agility/resilience).
- Drive prioritization efforts within the Supply Chain’s project portfolio. Build business cases for new LCM projects and ensure they meet overall strategic objectives. Direct resources and efforts to make improvements.
- Enable rapid issue resolution of critical supply & quality events. Manage Senior Leader communications and enable cross-functional engagement on significant event response.
- Publish and promote Supply Chain performance. Coordinate communication between various functions and senior leaders.
- Conduct analysis to recommend and execute optimal Product Portfolio mix. Develop solutions for end-to-end cost and inventory optimization, work with strategic marketing, regulatory, R&D and technical groups to ensure readiness to react to market / customer requirements and deliver on product life cycle innovations.
- This position will focus on the Shoulder Reconstruction in the Joints Franchise of DePuy Synthes.

- Reviewing the strategic capacity plan and aligning with the capital plan.
- Developing business cases to support advancement of the PSR.
- Evaluating and prioritizing product risks across the E2E SC. Developing and implementing mitigating solutions.
- Facilitating and creating content to advance Supply Chain management maturity.
- Modeling E2E scenarios and their trade-offs. Provide options and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Linking franchise business strategy to supply chain network strategy
- Connecting the day-to-day performance with the business plan and strategic plan. Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in Supply Chain, R&D, or Commercial function.
- Experience driving operational excellence across organizations with measurable financial, quality and customer service results.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization and achieving results through relationships with internal and external partners.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in demonstrated strong Project Management.
- Experience across demand/production planning, sourcing, manufacturing, inventory management, or delivery to customer.
- The position requires up to 25% travel Domestic and International. Preferred:
- A degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, planning, project management, procurement, engineering, or R&D.
- A PMI/FPX, Green Belt, Black Belt/Master Black Belt Certification.
- Lean and Six Sigma experience.
- Direct manufacturing experience in a healthcare manufacturing operation.
- Understanding of financial processes such as P&L calculation and COGS.
- Exposure to a global environment in previous roles.
