Position Summary You will lead AI governance, risk assessment and controls for finance and Source-to-Pay initiatives. You will work closely with finance, technology, process owners and external partners to ensure safe and effective use of AI across pilots and production. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Lead risk assessments and design controls for AI-enabled finance and Source-to-Pay projects from pilot to production.
- Advise project teams on embedding responsible AI and control requirements into design, configuration and testing.
- Track remediation of control gaps and drive issues to closure with clear ownership and timelines.
- Manage stakeholder engagement across finance, IT, process owners and third-party suppliers to ensure aligned delivery.
- Support audit and regulatory requests by preparing clear documentation, evidence and control narratives.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and monitor controls using data and analytics. Why You? This role is hybrid. You will be expected to work from the office two to three days per week. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Professional finance or audit qualification (for example CA, CPA, ACCA, CISA) or equivalent experience in controls and assurance.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in finance risk, internal controls, audit or compliance within an international or large corporate environment.
- Practical experience assessing risks and designing controls for digital projects, preferably including AI or machine learning solutions.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management across finance, IT and third-party suppliers.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to explain technical risk in plain terms.
- Comfortable using data analytics tools and willing to adopt automation and continuous control monitoring approaches. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Direct experience with Source-to-Pay processes or finance ERP implementations (for example SAP S/4HANA).
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, model risk management or responsible AI practices.
- Experience with controls automation or reconciliation tools such as BlackLine or similar.
- Knowledge of financial reporting frameworks (IFRS or local GAAP) and regulatory compliance.
- Certification or coursework in AI/ML, risk frameworks (for example COSO) or change management.
