Job Summary The Unified Communications Engineering team is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Engineer with a passion for building, operating, and optimizing secure, reliable, and scalable platforms that power a world-class product experience.
In this role, you will contribute to the deployment, operation, and continuous evolution of platform capabilities across private and public cloud environments. You will enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks using Ansible, programming/scripting frameworks, GitHub Actions, and Concourse, while working with Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and scale services.
The role also includes automating deployments for Golang-based services and Python-driven data pipelines, enabling consistent and efficient delivery workflows. You will strengthen observability and platform reliability by building and maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK, while supporting infrastructure in OpenStack-based environments.
The role emphasizes strong platform ownership, rapid prototyping, and continuous improvement, with a focus on scalability, performance, and operational excellence. As part of the product engineering function, you will develop deep and broad knowledge of the Unified Communications platform and its underlying products over time, while collaborating across distributed teams and adopting modern open-source technologies.

Skillset & Responsibilities Design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, scalable deployment of platform services and applications.
Design, deploy, and manage scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure across cloud environments (OpenStack, AWS) to support platform and product needs. Deploy and maintain updates to applications, services, and systems, ensuring consistency, integration, and operational stability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across testing and production environments, driving root cause analysis and long-term improvements. Develop and implement automation frameworks to streamline deployments, platform operations, and system workflows using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and scripting frameworks .
Install, manage, and optimize container orchestration platforms and repositories using Docker and Kubernetes . Manage and enhance CI/CD, source control, code scanning, observability, dashboards, and alerting systems. Monitor and analyze system and resource usage, driving initiatives to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and platform capabilities. Qualifications Experience working with modern engineering toolchains and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker .
Experience with cloud platforms including OpenStack (preferred) and AWS . Experience building and operating scalable infrastructure and platform stacks. Strong foundation in Linux systems administration . Experience deploying and supporting applications built using Golang, Python , or similar programming/scripting languages.
Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform . Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub, Concourse, Jenkins, or ArgoCD . Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk/Elasticsearch, Alerta .
Ability to work across teams, handle complex problem-solving, and drive issues to closure. Strong prioritization, multitasking, and communication skills in a collaborative engineering environment
Responsibilities
- Supporting the architecture, design
- development of applications aligned with product and technical roadmaps Collaborating with project management and principal engineers to ensure timely delivery of applications meeting product standards Developing and applying performance models for applications to assess network impacts and improve efficiency Coordinating with product development and operations teams to define precise technical requirements Creating use cases and converting technical requirements into practical system architectures Documenting detailed designs to fulfill technical specifications and established architectural frameworks Assisting in the evaluation and management of technical vendors, contributing to specifications and performance assessments Interfacing with development teams to support the creation of internal and third-party software solutions Participating in technical reviews and providing input to improve product design and code quality Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure operational stability Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
