Job Title: AFRICOM-Strategic Integration & Education Specialist Job Category: Training Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular-Long Term Assignment Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 100% Type of Travel: Outside Continental US - Hazard * * * The Opportunity: The Strategic Integration and Education Specialist ensures AFRICOM;s J37 exercise program aligns to long range theater campaign objectives.

The role bridges strategic planning (J5), current operations (J35), and Joint Staff Force Development, ensuring exercises reinforce campaign lines of effort. This specialist also designs and delivers educational modules that prepare staff for evolving missions and strategic shifts.

Responsibilities: -Develop, maintain, and refine the campaign aligned Exercise Integration Plan ensuring all AFRICOM events remain synchronized with strategic goals. -Coordinate with J5, J35, Component Commands, and Joint Staff planners to ensure exercise to strategy alignment. -Produce and deliver integration briefings during biannual exercise related conferences. -Create detailed educational modules (academics, primers, vignettes) linking national strategy, AFRICOM orders, and exercise objectives. -Support planning OPTs with integration focused products that clarify strategic context and operationally relevant data. -Maintain a linkage matrix connecting Joint Staff Force Development projects to AFRICOM’s exercise design processes. -Identify capability gaps, future opportunities, and training requirements emerging from strategic guidance. -Develop exercise-relevant information products for senior leadership consumption. -Facilitate staff development sessions focused on strategic awareness, problem solving, and campaign alignment

Qualifications

  • Required- -Bachelor's degree and 10 years of directly related experience or 15 years of directly related experience. -7+ years of experience in military training, strategic planning, force development
  • joint operations. -Demonstrated ability to translate strategic guidance into operational planning requirements. -Strong curriculum design and educational program development skills. -Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities. -TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Desired: -Experience with Joint Staff J7 Force Development processes. -Prior work with AFRICOM, EUCOM

  • Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
