Senior Global Customer Insights Lead Description - Job Summary This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of research and insights strategies that provide actionable insights to support our business objectives and drive change.
Your role will require a strong understanding of business fundamentals as a driver of success. You will be a key player in shaping our understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify key research questions, design studies, analyze data, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Additionally, as a strategic advisor to senior executives, you will play a critical role in engaging them in implementation of insights and change management
Responsibilities
- Set the insights agenda in partnership with business executives Lead the development and execution of research and analytics projects.
- Design and analyze research studies that align with business objectives and address key research questions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to identify research needs and develop insights-driven strategies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, with a focus on how these factors impact business fundamentals.
- Present research findings and recommendations to senior leadership, and provide guidance on how to apply insights to strategic decision-making.
- Play a critical role in engaging senior executives in change management efforts, and lead efforts to drive change based on research findings and insights.
- Manage external research vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality research deliverables.
- Manage insights budget Knowledge, Experience and Skills: Bachelor's or Master's degree in market research, statistics, psychology, sociology
- a related field. 10+ years of experience in market research, insights
- Strong analytical and story-telling skills Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data and insights to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to engage senior executives in change management efforts and lead efforts to drive change based on research findings and insights.
- Strong understanding of business fundamentals and how market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes impact business success.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with technology markets and trends is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with executive management and functional disciplines.
- Excellent influencing, consensus-building and conflict-resolution skills.
