A Day in the Life Across our global Neuroscience organization, we advance care for some of medicine’s most complex neurological and spinal conditions. Supporting therapies within Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health (NMPH), you will partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex scientific and clinical data into accurate, balanced, and evidence-based medical information for healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
In this role, you will evaluate and synthesize scientific literature, develop tailored medical information responses, and contribute to scientific publications and educational materials that support informed clinical decision-making. Whether responding to complex clinical inquiries, reviewing scientific content for accuracy and compliance, or identifying emerging evidence trends, you will help ensure the integrity, consistency, and accessibility of medical information.
Your work will directly support patient safety, strengthen scientific credibility, and enable healthcare providers to make confident, evidence-based treatment decisions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as a medical and scientific expert by responding to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
Conduct comprehensive literature searches and critically evaluate, interpret, and synthesize published scientific literature, clinical study data, and other evidence to develop accurate, balanced, and compliant medical responses. Review scientific and medical content—including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, publications, and promotional materials—for scientific accuracy, claim substantiation, fair balance, and compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
Author or contribute to scientific manuscripts, literature reviews, State-of-the-Art assessments, medical information responses, and other evidence-based scientific communications. Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to support evidence-based scientific decision-making and ensure consistent medical messaging.
Monitor emerging scientific literature and clinical evidence to identify trends and incorporate new data into medical information resources. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, including off-label communication requirements and applicable healthcare regulations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of medical information resources and processes. Minimum Requirement (Basic Qualifications): To be considered for this position, the following Basic Qualifications must be evident on your resume Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or Medical/Healthcare field with minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, OR Advance degree in Life Science or Medical/Healthcare field with minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Nice To Have ( Preferred Qualifications): Advanced degree in a life sciences or healthcare discipline (e.g., M.S., Pharm.D., M.D., or Ph.D.).
Experience applying clinical judgment to interpret complex scientific and clinical evidence, develop evidence-based medical positions, and support compliant scientific exchange with healthcare professionals through medical information, scientific communications, or Medical Affairs.
Strong understanding of human physiology, disease states, medical terminology, and neuromodulation therapies (Brain, Pain, and Pelvic Health), with the ability to translate complex evidence into clear, clinically meaningful insights. Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing medical information and scientific communications, including off-label communication policies and global regulatory considerations.
Excellent organizational, project management, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate multiple variables and tradeoffs, and make sound, evidence-based recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$106,400.00 - $159,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
