- Amazon's EU ATS Transportation Specialists play a central role in our global business. The ATS Scheduling Team is responsible for the creation, publication
- management of Surface Transportation schedules to meet the trucking needs of our customers across the entire EU and UK network. We are looking for a Transportation Specialist who will execute well-defined scheduling procedures to ensure the trucks required for Amazon to deliver are planned with accuracy, speed
- reliability. In this role, you will follow established processes and use your knowledge to determine the right scheduling actions — or when a slight deviation from standard procedures is needed — to achieve the desired outcome. You will leverage multiple tools and optimizers to execute schedules, supporting the EU ATS Scheduling team in delivering the Truck Plan for Amazon's European Network. This is a procedural, execution-focused role where the strategy is defined. You will work within one or more process paths on the scheduling team, performing a variety of scheduling procedures, troubleshooting issues using available documentation

- plan quality. Key job responsibilities - Execute scheduling procedures: Perform the end-to-end scheduling process following defined SOPs, playbooks
- roadmaps to create, publish schedules for the EU and UK network - Leverage scheduling tools and optimizers: Use multiple internal tools and optimization systems to build and execute truck schedules accurately and within established timelines - Troubleshoot with documentation: Identify and resolve scheduling discrepancies or errors by referencing available procedures, documentation
- knowledge base resources - Escalate appropriately: Recognize when actions needed deviate from available procedures and escalate to the appropriate team members or leadership in a timely manner - Maintain data accuracy and quality: Ensure all scheduling outputs meet quality standards, verifying data inputs and outputs for completeness and correctness - Deep dive on root causes: Investigate customer call-outs and scheduling deviations to identify root causes and propose solutions within the scope of existing processes - Communicate clearly: Provide clear and concise updates via tickets, SIMs, notes

- resolutions - Support process improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements and may take action to implement them within the scheduling workflow A day in the life As an ATS Transportation Specialist, you will execute the scheduling process by following established procedures. Throughout the day, you will use multiple scheduling tools and optimizers to build and publish truck schedules for the EU network. When you encounter discrepancies or customer call-outs, you will deep dive into root causes using available documentation and reference materials. If an issue falls outside of established procedures, you will escalate it promptly to your manager or senior team members. You will communicate progress and issues clearly ensuring your team and stakeholders have visibility into schedule status. You will participate in team meetings, provide input on scheduling challenges

- 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) experience
