Role Description Form Energy is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and enhancement of our testing operations. This role reports into our Test Operations team. As part of our broader Test Engineering team, you will be involved in designing, developing, and implementing robust manufacturing processes for testing our advanced energy storage systems.

You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams including R&D, Test Development and Test Execution. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and be part of the growth of a fast-moving company with breakthrough technology and an incredible mission!

What You'll Do

  • Identify and resolve issues related to the manufacturing and assembly of complex electro-mechanical systems, ensuring that quality standards are met Design and implement effective fixtures and workstations to optimize workflow, increase quality and improve operations Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce waste
  • elevate product quality in low to medium scale operations Develop and manage processes around Bill of Materials (BOM), inventory management, quality control, non-confirming material
  • material returns to streamline operations Develop, support
  • manage assembly work instructions ensuring they are clear, concise
  • What you'll bring: 4+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably with electro-mechanical assembly or within an R&D environment Passion for lean manufacturing
  • experience implementing lean process flows and eliminating waste Strong proficiency in CAD software (preferably Solidworks) Experience leading project execution in cross-functional teams Experience working with electrochemical devices is a plus Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related major preferred #LI-Onsite Humanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
