Job Summary The Director, Retail Security Operations is responsible for building and leading Comcast's retail security operating model across a national retail footprint. The role provides direct oversight of security operations for approximately 390 company-owned retail locations and delivers governance, advisory support, standards alignment, escalation coordination, and risk visibility for approximately 300 branded partner stores operating under the Xfinity brand.

This is a highly strategic builder role focused on creating structure, governance, reporting, operational routines, and accountability across a complex, distributed retail environment. Operating in a virtual-first, matrixed organization, this leader partners across Security Operations, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Audit, regional teams, branded partner stakeholders, and external vendors to reduce risk, improve readiness, strengthen compliance, and enhance operational performance.

The Director provides operational support, data, and coordination to investigative teams while preserving regional ownership of investigations and positions security as a practical business enabler that supports store operations, drives informed decision-making, and reduces operational risk without creating unnecessary operational friction.

Job Description Responsibilities: Lead the retail security operating model for company-owned stores while providing governance, advisory support, standards alignment, escalation coordination, and risk visibility for branded partner locations.

Build and mature enterprise governance structures, operational processes, reporting frameworks, standards, and accountability models. Oversee key retail security programs, including guard force operations, cash logistics, alarm systems, video management, and asset protection technologies.

Establish performance metrics, dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting that provide visibility into security risks, loss trends, compliance, vendor performance, and operational effectiveness. Coordinate cross-functional response and escalation for retail security incidents, operational risks, vendor issues, and emerging threats.

Drive vendor performance through service-level expectations, scorecards, governance routines, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner closely with Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Audit, regional teams, branded partner stakeholders, and business leaders to strengthen controls, improve store readiness, and reduce risk.

Support investigative teams through operational coordination, reporting, and process enablement without assuming primary responsibility for investigations. Influence outcomes across a highly matrixed environment through partnership, governance, relationship management, and executive alignment rather than direct authority.

Support branded partner locations through influence, advisory support, standards alignment, and relationship-led governance rather than direct operational control. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in security operations, retail operations, loss prevention, physical security, operational risk, supply chain, or related fields.

Experience building and leading enterprise-scale programs, operating models, governance structures, or cross-functional initiatives. Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization. Strong background in vendor management, program governance, performance management, and executive reporting.

Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and data-driven business recommendations. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience within retail operations, physical security, loss prevention, investigations, asset protection, or related operational environments.

Experience overseeing guard force, cash logistics, alarm, video management, or asset protection programs. Demonstrated success improving operational performance, compliance, vendor accountability, and risk management. Experience leading organizational change, process improvement, or operating model transformation initiatives.

Why This Role Matters This role creates a centralized, enterprise approach to retail security by establishing the governance, visibility, accountability, and operational discipline needed to support a large retail footprint. Success requires building structure where ownership has historically been fragmented, leveraging influence across a matrixed organization, and balancing strong governance with practical business partnership.

The role will strengthen risk management, loss prevention, compliance, vendor performance, and store readiness while enabling business leaders to make informed, risk-based decisions across both company-owned and branded partner retail environments.
