Job Description

  • The purpose of this position is to enable end-to-end efficient and professional Management and Administration of canteen and pantry services, provide and sustain high quality, healthy and tasty food to associates, customers
  • visitors, to continuously enhance Employee Experience. Continuously guide, coach, monitor the Efficiency and cost while running canteen efficiently. 1. Menu Engineering And Costing Key activities: Analyze consumption patterns and trends. Evaluate menu impact on costs. Optimize menu for balance of taste, cost
  • quality. Key Result Areas / Indicators : Cost per head 2. Food Quality, Delivery & Controlling Key activities: supervise food quality in preparation, focusing on controllable factors. Implement and regularly evaluate SOPs, ensuring FIFO compliance. Key Result Areas / Indicators : Customer/employee experience index 3. Compliance and Dcoumentation Document canteen management activities and ensure compliance. Key activities: Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations Key Result Areas / Indicators :Compliance 4. Canteen Administration, Management Key activities: Ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Train contract workers on hygiene, safety
  • service. collaborate with the Canteen Committee to design a cost efficient, balanced menu. Analyze feedback and improve the dining experience. Key Result Areas / Indicators :Customer/employee experience index 5. Budget Management Key activities: Monitor and control canteen operations to ensure costs remain within the allocated budget. Key Result Areas / Indicators : Canteen Expenses within the Budget 6. Benchmark Canteen Services Key activities: Continuously benchmark canteen services internally and externally to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance processes. Promote the kitchen and dining hall as a benchmark for best practices to inspire excellence. Key Result Areas / Indicators : Continuous Improvement
  • Education * Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Experience * 10-15 years of know how on canteen management * Minimum 5 years of manufacturing industry exposure
  • Knowledge * Proficient level of knowledge and understanding the costing * Competent level of knowledge on various compliance standards while running canteen Functional skills * Expert level of knowledge on designing recipe / menu * Proficient level of skill in negotiation with the vendor * Proficient level of skill in managing / convincing canteen committee and workers union
