Job Title Manager, Technical Project Management About your role: As a Technical Project Manager, you lead technical and infrastructure projects that support Fiserv clients and the platforms they rely on every day.

You partner closely with engineering, network, platform, application, and operations teams to drive delivery from intake through implementation and stabilization. Your work ensures connectivity, infrastructure, and production changes are planned, coordinated, and executed with the right level of operational readiness, risk management, and client communication.

In addition to project delivery, you will also support change management governance to help align change timing to client windows, improve transparency, and reduce delivery risk

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of client-facing technical and infrastructure projects, from intake and planning through implementation, stabilization, and closeout.
  • Partner with network and technical teams to build, manage, and execute integrated project plans, including requirements gathering, implementation coordination, and documentation.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate project risks, issues, and mitigation plans, escalating when needed to protect delivery commitments and client experience.
  • Own change management responsibilities, including impact and risk evaluation, schedule alignment to client change windows, client notifications, and participation in internal/client change review meetings.
  • Coordinate implementation and cutover planning, including validation steps, back-out/rollback considerations, and post-change verification to support operational readiness.
  • Support continuous improvement by standardizing and automating project and change reporting, improving transparency, consistency, and speed of communication.
  • Engage during client-impacting incidents or high-visibility events as needed to help coordinate stakeholders, drive follow-ups, and ensure closure of corrective actions.

  • Experience you’ll need to have: 5+ years of experience leading technical projects in an enterprise technology environment.
  • Experience driving end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams, including engineering, network, platform/infrastructure, application, and operations stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skills in project planning, dependency management, risk/issue management, and stakeholder communications, including executive-ready status reporting.
  • Working knowledge of change management governance, including impact assessment, risk evaluation, change scheduling, and client communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
  • Experience that would be great to have: Familiarity with IT service management practices (change, incident, problem) and service management tooling (for example ServiceNow).
  • Experience improving reporting through standardization and automation (dashboards, templates, scheduled distributions).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (or equivalent demonstrated experience leading structured delivery).
  • How you’ll work: This role is on-site Monday through Friday in Omaha, NE.
  • Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
  • This role requires flexibility to support off-hours implementations as needed.
  • Travel: This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).
