About the Role As a Sleep Coach , you will be the face of ResMed in our Newcastle retail clinic. Your mission is to create an outstanding customer experience while driving sales and supporting people on their sleep health journey. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain high retail standards, and contribute to business growth while helping customers achieve the best possible therapy outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, achieving sales goals and making a genuine difference in people's lives. No healthcare experience is required — comprehensive training is provided. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored sleep therapy solutions.

Respond to customer enquiries in-store and over the phone. Achieve individual and clinic sales targets through effective product and service recommendations. Investigate and help customers problem-solve therapy and equipment issues. Provide equipment set-up, ongoing support and education to encourage successful therapy outcomes.

Fit customers for masks and recommend the most suitable options based on training. Educate customers on the safe and effective use of sleep therapy equipment. Conduct customer follow-up calls to support therapy compliance, discuss trial outcomes and build long-term customer relationships.

Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the clinic is presented to a high standard at all times. Manage stock levels, inventory control and replenishment. Process Point of Sale (POS) transactions, cash handling and daily administrative duties.

Maintain, prepare and check trial devices and equipment to ensure they are customer-ready. Complete ongoing product and therapy training to maintain expert product knowledge. Your Day-to-Day Create amazing customer experiences — greet, listen and guide customers to the right solutions.

Drive sales success by achieving targets and contributing to clinic growth. Keep the store looking its best through merchandising, stock control and presentation. Stay ahead of the game by completing product training and sharing your knowledge with customers and colleagues.

Follow up with customers to build trust, loyalty and positive therapy outcomes. Handle POS transactions and administration accurately and efficiently. Ensure trial equipment is maintained, checked and ready for customer use. About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Retail, sales or customer service experience (2+ years preferred).

A sales-focused mindset and a passion for achieving goals. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and adapt your approach to different customers. A warm, caring and customer-focused attitude. Excellent problem-solving and active listening skills.

Strong attention to detail across administration, reporting and store presentation. Confidence using technology and POS systems. Experience with Salesforce or Shopify is highly regarded. A strong work ethic, reliability and honesty. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required. Availability to work 3–5 days per week, including 1–2 Saturdays per month. Healthcare, pharmacy or healthcare retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
