Product Security Engineer (Product Security Engineer) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer (PSE) with the ability to analyze complex aerospace engineering solutions and/or technical background for both space and ground systems security architectures.

This position is a part of the Multi-User Objective System (MUOS) program and is in El Segundo, California. Primary Responsibilities: Product Security Engineer is responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate and verify lifecycle balanced information system security solutions.

Co-Leads a team of Product Security Engineers that will implement cybersecurity features on satellite vehicles and implement RMF processes for embedded computing systems. Evaluates resilient network operations for a satellite system and implement effective crypto keying techniques.

Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and system architecture. Identifies assets and assesses risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of the product assets in accordance with accepted industry, professional, and government standards to ensure security design integrity, availability, confidentiality, nonrepudiation and contract compliance.

Oversee the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle. Oversee the development and enhancement of system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements.

Ensures security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support. Oversee the definition and identification of product security requirements for suppliers of components and subsystems for integration into the most complex Boeing products and services.

Consults with enterprise senior leadership on complex product security technical recommendations, solutions, risks, and opportunities as applied to the security domain with consideration of impact or leverage across other critical engineering disciplines.

Oversees coordination with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry at the most senior levels to identify risks and improve industry and regulatory security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems. Defines complex research and development activities resulting in innovative solutions.

Oversee the advisement of customers on maintaining product security and certification, including security consequences of modifying products and services. Implements appropriate Accreditation and Authorization activities per JSIG, DoD and NISPOM, or DoD Overprint to the NISPOM as required by customers.

Coordinates with system administrators, network and software engineers, test and validation engineers and program management on security related activities and requirements. This position requires an active Secret (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S.

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 10+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering 4+ years of experience with spacecraft, payloads, ground systems, and/or space mission systems 5+ years’ experience performing software integration with hardware, firmware, and other software, including coordination with interfacing technical teams 10+ years’ working with technical implementation in classified and unclassified environments, preferably in large-scale digital or business transformations, system integrations, infrastructure & operations, cybersecurity, networking, etc Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): DoD 8140 (8570) Security+ Experience in working space and ground systems security architectures.

Experience supporting Satellite System Integration or Operation. Experience with Launch System Integration and Operations. 14+ years of experience in Systems Engineering Cyber or a Combination of both, working and understanding Program Protection Implementation Plan (PPIP) and Anti Tamper (AT) Plans, etc.).
