ICAM Specialist
Job Title: ICAM Specialist Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: Step into a pivotal role driving identity operations for a large-scale Department of Defense program with complex and evolving access requirements. In this position, you’ll manage and mature a modern ICAM stack—featuring OKTA, CyberArk, and Zscaler Private Access—while working at the forefront of Zero Trust architecture.
You’ll own identity lifecycle operations end-to-end, produce compliance reports reviewed by senior leadership and auditors, and continuously expand your expertise across IAM, PAM, and zero trust network access disciplines. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on mission security while advancing your technical career in a dynamic, high‑visibility environment.
Remote but must be willing to travel to O'fallon IL on a quarterly basis Responsibilities: Oversee the full identity lifecycle, including provisioning, modification, and de‑provisioning of user access Administer OKTA as the enterprise IAM platform, ensuring secure and seamless identity operations Manage and safeguard privileged credentials through CyberArk PAM, including vaulting and access workflows Implement and maintain MFA solutions across assigned systems and platforms Conduct monthly privileged access audits and produce compliance reports for leadership and auditors Perform monthly DCWF compliance auditing and reporting Manage secure remote access via Palo Alto Secure Browser and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) Develop and maintain access control matrices, SOPs, and identity management documentation Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Architect to support identity architecture planning and Zero Trust initiatives Qualifications
Required
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance 3–5 years of experience in identity and access management roles Hands-on experience with an enterprise IAM platform (OKTA strongly preferred) Working knowledge of privileged access management tools and concepts Experience implementing and administering multi-factor authentication (MFA) DoD 8140 Interim Education Options DoD 8140.03M DCWF Basic Tier Certification: CC, GDSA
- GISF Desired: OKTA Certified Administrator CyberArk Trustee or Defender certification Familiarity with Zscaler ZTNA and Zero Trust access concepts Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology
- Software Engineering DoD 8140.03M DCWF Intermediate Tier Certification: CEH(P), ECIH, GRID, RCCE Level 1, CBROPS, CCSP, CEH, Cloud+, FITSP-O, GCED, GCIH, GSEC, PenTest+
