In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm;s financial and capital resources. What you'll do in the role: - Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm - Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments - Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work - Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards - Develop a holistic view of the Firm's balance sheet and ensure the proper costs and benefits of various funding instruments are properly allocated to the business units - Support the design, implementation and enhancements of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) methodologies, including funding, liquidity and capital allocation framework - Perform quantitative analysis to evaluate methodology changes and assess impacts across business lines and present conclusion to senior stakeholders in Finance, Risk and Businesses - Assist in model validation, governance documentation and regulatory examinations related to FTP framework - Support stress testing, forecasting and scenario analysis initiatives - Assist in implementing technology solutions to improve FTP processes and analytics - Develop and mentor junior resources on the team - Build effective working relationships with other key stakeholders within Corporate Treasury as well as the front-office business units, Technology, broader Finance and Risk on all issues related to FTP What you'll bring to the role: - In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment - Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities - Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes Knowledge of Bank balance sheet, funding products, liquidity risk and liquidity management is a plus - Strong excel and quantitative skills - Well-developed analytical capabilities, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity - An inquisitive and pro-active mindset with strong critical thinking skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; general ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form - The ability to build relationships across the firm; must be comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management - Self-motivation and an eye for detail - Bachelor's degree in a Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology-related field is a plus - At least 4 -7 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.

However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
