Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite As a Senior Project Manager , Advanced Operations team, you will lead complex engineering projects that support new product development and launch across our global manufacturing network. You will partner with innovation, technical, and stakeholder teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Project Focus: In this role, you will lead the Advanced Operations New Product Introduction project team in developing a cutting-edge console for the Neurosurgical Business Unit within Instruments. This position is onsite in Kalamazoo, MI. What will you do Lead cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle – from initiation and planning to execution and closure.

Drive new product, process, and technology introductions into our manufacturing environment. Define project scope, timelines, and budgets – and ensure alignment across stakeholders. Define and manage the Work Breakdown Structure. Drive accountability, performance and delivery within the project team and stakeholders, develop & own the project schedule and all underlying milestones.

Actively manage stakeholder relationships and communications; teams include R&D, Marketing and Manufacturing Operations. Develop and execute the communications management plan for project team and the needs of key stakeholders Work with our suppliers and contract manufacturers to develop robust processes and supply chains, driving standards, accountability and delivery to meet Stryker and project delivery requirements.

Develop a risk management plan for the project. Identify, analyze, and understand project risks; develop and monitor a risk response plan, while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Estimate, acquire and assign cross functional project resources.

Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews. Maintain strong focus on customer needs, quality, and continuous improvement. What you need Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent. 6+ years of project management or engineering experience in a regulated industry.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Solid technical foundation, with experience in process validation, risk management, and project scheduling tools. Drives results in support of the business, even in the face of demanding timelines.

Steps up to take on additional responsibility where appropriate. Understand and communicate how goals fit into broader organizational goals and prioritize tasks/schedule accordingly. Growth mindset – ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment.

Preferred PMP certification (or strong interest in achieving it). Demonstrated Leadership, Project Management and Engineering experience in New Product Introduction in a regulated environment. Background in new product introduction (NPI) or design-to-commercialization programs Experience working with contract manufacturers and/or multiple suppliers and supply chains.
