Job Summary: The Quality Assurance & Testing Advisor is responsible for partnering with development, process, business and product owners to drive testing efforts across ESC’s data analytics solutions and adjudication platform. In this role, you will collaborate with testing and infrastructure partners to ensure data and environment requirements are met and necessary integrations are available to support end to end business process testing.
You will work with Business, technology, and solution teams to develop and execute automated capabilities for regression testing that includes business end to end, compliance and configuration testing. This individual must possess strong technical knowledge on reporting applications (e.g.
OAS, OBIEE, Web based reporting applications) and prior experience with Claims adjudication system. You will also be responsible to identify improvement opportunities utilizing automation and will apply efficient practices to improve maintainability and supportability of capabilities.
Responsibility will include the research, review and leverage test automation frameworks, troubleshooting issues in scripts executions, identify automation candidates to drive efficiencies
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test scripts, test conditions, test data, and expected results for Acceptance Testing/User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure business scenarios are thoroughly validated to support a high-quality and compliant solution.
- Analyze and communicate test results, including providing recommendations for Go/No-Go release decisions.
- Perform defect tracking and support defect resolution activities.
- Participate in the analysis of business processes to develop effective test workflows and coverage.
- Assist in preparing compliance test cases, including privacy, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support application testing across multiple environments, including development, certification/testing, production, and penetration testing.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, including identifying and implementing automation opportunities in collaboration with development, business, and product teams
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or Engineering preferred Minimum 5 years of quality assurance, business testing, and test automation experience.
- Strong knowledge of advanced SQL and relational databases, including writing and validating SQL queries.
- Experience working with large volumes of data and performing data validation/testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and the Product Development Lifecycle (PDL).
- Knowledge of Pharmacy or Group Health Insurance (pharmacy, dental, and other health benefits) industry and/or claims adjudication systems is considered a strong asset.
