- building infrastructure that developers and data engineers rely on globally — this is your team. Your code will run inside pipelines that power critical business decisions for thousands of customers simultaneously. You'll tackle challenges in distributed query execution, fault-tolerant pipeline orchestration
- low-latency data processing — problems that don't have easy answers. Glue‘s connectivity services team, allows service teams like Athena, QuickSight, SageMaker Unified Studio and external customers like Adobe, SAP and Workday to develop customer facing products that interact with third party data sources by giving them access to a large catalog of data source options without having to write or maintain new integrations. Our team provides a platform that any team in AWS can use to discover and use existing connectors. Once onboarded to the service, integrating partners are provided with a consistent way to render the tile of data source options, create or retrieve connections (with OAuth support) , configure a connector (including VPC setup) and interact with underlying data sources. - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - 1+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
