The TPF Close & Control (C&C) team is responsible for delivering financial reporting, compliance, and control services for the three trading partners. Covering a wide scope of supply chain activity, mainly focused on intercompany transactions with some direct third-party sales, these entities have a combined turnover of approximately £17bn per annum and inventory of over £2bn.

The role involves engaging with a wide range of finance and non-finance stakeholders across multiple geographies and functions to deliver accurate group and statutory financial reporting, support decision-making, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities Provide a set of financial activities related to P&L and Balance Sheet during the monthly cycle to ensure accurate and timely postings of financial transactions, delivering a timely period-end close. Own the entity’s trial balance and ensure its accuracy.

Cooperate with the BPO partner to ensure all activities are carried out efficiently, especially performing General Ledger, Period End Close, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation activities. Support period-end financial closing activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery of IFRS reports and control the Balance Sheet for the assigned scope.

Engage in preparing complex analysis and summaries as required. Close open issues and ensure steps are taken to prevent re-occurrence. Review documentation for all month-end control processes, ensuring full compliance with SOX requirements and driving control remediation when necessary.

Support preparation of statutory accounts and audit deliverables as required. Manage complex situations proactively and drive continuous service improvements. Engage with key finance and non-finance stakeholders as required and manage these relationships effectively.

Work closely with teams across the TPF organization and wider Finance function. Manage and support one or more accountants/analysts. Required Qualifications & Experience Accounting degree/qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA or equivalent). Working knowledge of IFRS and SOX controls SAP experience is a strong asset Previous experience in statutory accounting Familiarity and experience in supply chain finance or similar Experience working with transformation and change.
