- Leading maintenance and engineering launch operations for Amazon's first next-generation Fulfillment Center in North America, directing comprehensive maintenance and automation systems implementation.
- Managing multi-disciplinary teams to establish facility-wide maintenance standards and protocols.
- Developing and implementing network-wide maintenance processes including first applications of new commissioning and qualification procedures.
- Spearheading innovative solutions including AI-powered tools for maintenance qualification processes adopted across Amazon's network.
- Responsible for end-to-end maintenance project execution, including pillar structuring, equipment validation, and team leadership.
- Overseeing critical infrastructure improvements including design validations and change request implementations for enhanced operational efficiency.
- Establishing new generation standards based on successful implementations for future Amazon FC launches network-wide.
- Managing comprehensive documentation and training strategies for new generation FC building equipment.
- Leading cross-functional collaboration to optimize FC design and operations while ensuring alignment with new standards and requirements.
- Providing strategic leadership in complex problem-solving and decision-making
- mentoring other managers in launch operations and maintenance management. - related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have 1 year of experience in the following skills:
- Experience with budget management, long-range facility planning, and capital project management.
- Experience in a similar multi-site corporate, manufacturing, or commercial environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing comprehensive preventative maintenance programs.
- Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience. The pay range for this position in Arlington, VA is $123300 - $166800 (yr)
- however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
