Direct and Workplace Banking Strategy - Vice President

The US Banks - Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association (“MSPBNA”) and Morgan Stanley Bank, National Association (“MSBNA”) - provide cash management, deposit and lending products and services to serve the needs of WM & ISG clients.
We are looking for an individual to join the Digital Direct and Workplace Banking Strategy team, which is responsible for growing Banking and Lending across E*TRADE and our Stockplan business. This role is a great opportunity to combine strategic execution, leadership influence, and banking and lending expertise to drive value for our end clients.
The ideal candidate can create structure in ambiguity, apply critical thinking to abstract problems, and build strong relationships across product, sales, marketing, technology, risk, legal, and compliance. Position Summary Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across business segments, partnering internally to assess scale, feasibility, client impact, and strategic fit Develop executive-level materials that clearly frame recommendations, tradeoffs, progress, and decisions for stakeholders at all levels.
Translate prioritized opportunities into detailed implementation plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and drive stakeholder alignment. Partner across teams to deliver the system, process, and operating changes required to improve client experience.
Experience 5-10+ years of professional experience in strategy & execution / product development / distribution roles in either management consulting or internal strategy teams – ideally within wealth management, retail banking or lending, and/or consumer financial services Bachelor’s degree required.
Skills/Abilities Preferred High ownership, accountability, and autonomy, with the judgment to take initiative and drive progress without clear direction. Experience delivering products or initiatives to retail clients, with disciplined project/program management skills.
Advanced ability to influence stakeholders and partner with teams across marketing, technology, and product to prioritize workstreams. Quantitative and qualitative analytical capability, with a creative and flexible approach to solving ambiguous problems.
Clear communication, influencing, and executive presentation skills across written and verbal formats. Technical skills and experience with analytics tools are a plus. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
