Java Developer

Financial Adjustments & Entry Module(FAEM) and Citi Workflow Management(CWM) Senior Programmer analyst is a mid level position responsible for delivering complex solutions in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to make significant contributions to implement changes, updates and modernizations while integrating with wider ledger (and other Citi Apps) applications systems analysis and programming activities

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business processes, system processes
  • industry standards to define and develop solutions to high level problems Contribute to modernizing applications using service-oriented architecture implementations Micro Services and design patterns orchestration by Choreography, Chassis Patterns, caching.
  • Use Spring Boot, Spring Security, REST Webservices and APIs for building domain driven micro-services.
  • UI/UX development using Angular 18+ or React Implement services using Java, JSON, SQL, PL/SQL, XML.
  • Write backend packages, procedures, functions, views in Oracle to support data persistence and validation.
  • Develop new services using software development frameworks Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JPA.
  • Integrate multiple service-oriented applications using messaging and middleware technologies JMS, Solace, Kafka Deploy services as containers in Enterprise Container System (ECS) using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Use Gen AI coding assistants in day to day development - CoPilot, Claude, Devin AI Develop application methodologies and standards for program analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging
  • implementation Utilize advanced knowledge of supported main system flows and comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas, including Java, Spring Consult with end users to identify system function specifications and incorporate into overall system design Allocate work

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience in Backend : J ava, Spring Boot, Microservices, Python.
  • Frontend : Angular, React, Typescript Databases : Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Data & Analytics: Apache Spark, MongoDB, SQL/NoSQL Caching : Caffeine, Guava, Duck DB, Couchbase DevOps: CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes Gen AI : Copilot, Claude, Devin AI Citi Ledger and Components subject matter expertise preferred.
  • Experience in software engineering and architecture with full-stack and data expertise Demonstrated knowledge of client core business functions Demonstrated leadership, project management
