Specialist, Product Analysis converts defined product direction and business needs into detailed requirements, workflows, and system configurations across P&C (HR) product domains. Working closely with Product Managers, Experience Owners, HR stakeholders, Engineering, and enterprise systems teams, this role ensures product initiatives are clearly defined, validated, and successfully executed across a multi-system HR environment, including Workday and other integrated platforms.
This role is responsible for end-to-end execution across the product delivery lifecycle, supporting requirements, configuration, testing, demos, UAT, and release activities to deliver high-quality, scalable HR product capabilities. You will transform established product direction into build-ready requirements and scalable system configurations, ensuring consistency and quality across systems and teams. Your work will enable efficient delivery by ensuring requirements are complete, systems are properly configured, integrations are supported in partnership with engineering, dependencies are aligned, and releases are thoroughly validated.
What You’ll Do Document business requirements, user stories, workflows, and system/configuration needs in partnership with Product Managers and stakeholders based on prioritized requests Support system configuration and low-/no-code changes (including Workday and other HR platforms) within established product standards and governance Partner with Engineering to support integration-related requirements, validation, and issue resolution across interconnected HR systems Execute test scripts, validate system changes, and support QA, demo readiness, and release deployment activities Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution support, defect tracking, and stakeholder sign-off Provide day-to-day product and system support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with Product, Engineering, and system owners Maintain process documentation, configuration details, release notes, and testing records Prepare and support product demos and stakeholder walkthroughs to validate functionality and readiness Identify opportunities for incremental product, process, system, and user experience improvements Partner across HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Engineering, and technology teams to support effective delivery, integration alignment, and adoption What You Bring Experience in product analysis, business analysis, or HR technology roles with a strong focus on execution and delivery Hands-on experience with Workday- including configuration (e.g., business processes, reporting, security, calculated fields), plus familiarity with other HR systems and platforms Experience working in multi-system environments, including supporting or coordinating with Engineering on integrations Proven experience supporting QA, demos, UAT, and release processes Strong analytical, documentation, and requirements management skills Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and system configurations Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy Ability to operate independently and manage work across multiple priorities Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional stakeholders Experience with Agile tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, Confluence, AHA) Experience with HR domains such as Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, & Time Tracking, Reporting (strongly preferred) Experience with end-user training or enablement (preferred) What Success Looks Like Requirements are clear, complete, and ready for build without ambiguity or rework Systems (including Workday and integrated platforms) are configured accurately and consistently QA, demos, and UAT cycles are well-executed and lead to high-quality releases Integrations and cross-system workflows function reliably and as expected Releases are stable, validated, and adopted with minimal defects Issues are resolved efficiently through strong analysis, coordination, and execution Documentation and supporting materials are complete, current, and enable adoption at scale Continuous improvement is embedded across delivery processes, system configuration, and user experience Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
