Senior Associate (Assistant Manager) – GM/GCF Finance (Revenue) Basic Purpose of Job: The Senior Associate (Assistant Manager) – GM/GCF Finance (Revenue) will support core Finance and FP&A activities for the GM/GCF Revenue portfolio. The role will focus on revenue reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, variance commentary, and business performance insights to support Finance leadership and business decision-making.

The candidate should bring strong finance fundamentals, including revenue analysis, planning, forecasting, management reporting, and financial controls awareness, preferably within the financial services industry. The position requires sound analytical judgment, strong financial modeling capability, effective stakeholder communication, and the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.

Job Responsibilities: The role will support end-to-end finance deliverables for revenue performance management. Key responsibilities include: Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly revenue reporting packs, including actuals analysis, variance commentary, trend analysis, and management insights.

Support budgeting, forecasting, periodic outlook, and multi-year planning cycles, including revenue build-up, driver analysis, and comparison of actuals versus plan. Produce revenue waterfall reports, volume metrics, run-rate analysis, and key financial schedules to explain movements across products, clients, regions, and business drivers where applicable.

Partner with CFO teams, Billing, Accounting, and business stakeholders to validate revenue results, resolve reporting breaks, and ensure finance outputs are complete, accurate, and well controlled. Perform finance reviews on complex revenue topics, including revenue recognition trends, accruals, forecast movements, budget variances, cost allocations, and accounting-related adjustments.

Develop ad-hoc financial analysis, dashboards, and executive summaries to support business reviews, strategic planning, revenue outlook discussions, and management decision-making. Education and Experience: MBA Finance, CA, or M.Com with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, ideally across one or more of the following areas: Hands-on experience in FP&A, revenue finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, outlook, variance analysis, and financial commentary within a global finance environment.

Experience working with Finance, Accounting, Billing, Operations, and business teams to support revenue close, reporting accuracy, forecast submissions, and issue resolution. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate finance outputs through attention to detail, analytical thinking, strong controls mindset, problem-solving, and accountability. Willingness to take on challenges and independently drive issues and queries to resolution.

Skills/ Knowledge: The following finance, analytical, and stakeholder management skills will help the candidate succeed in this role: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate, high-quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present analysis and insights effectively to senior stakeholders. Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to drive deliverables to completion within agreed timelines. Strong understanding of revenue, profitability drivers, financial statements, accruals, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management concepts.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations, variance analysis schedules, and management presentation preparation. Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, SmartView, Power BI, Alteryx and AI-enabled tools will be an advantage.

Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to convert financial data into clear, accurate, and actionable business insights.
