- Job Title Cloud Operational Readiness & Governance Lead Job Description Job Title: Cloud Operations Readiness & Governance Lead – (AWS Platform) Your role: Define and govern operational readiness standards and onboarding criteria for cloud services entering the CloudOps platform Act as the operational gatekeeper , ensuring solutions are fully prepared for deployment, monitoring
- lifecycle support Drive Design Transfer Criteria (DTC) and Transition to Operations (TTO) processes for seamless service onboarding Ensure systems meet SLOs, SLAs, uptime commitments
- disaster recovery requirements (RTO/RPO) Validate readiness across automation, monitoring, observability
- operational documentation Collaborate with product engineering, architects
- CloudOps teams to close gaps in operational readiness Influence product roadmaps to embed cloud operational capabilities from design stage Establish governance practices including runbooks, playbooks, escalation paths
- service procedures Lead and support major incident and disaster recovery scenarios , ensuring service continuity and rapid recovery You're the right fit if: Leadership & Experience: 10+ years in cloud operations, platform operations
- large-scale production environments , with hands-on AWS expertise Operational Readiness & Governance: Proven experience defining service onboarding frameworks, operational standards, DTC/TTO processes
- ensuring production readiness Cloud & DevOps Expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks
- observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) Reliability & Incident Management: Experience managing major incidents, disaster recovery (RTO/RPO), SLA/SLO compliance
- ensuring uptime commitments Cross-functional Influence: Ability to collaborate with and influence product engineering, architects, CloudOps teams
- leadership stakeholders Operational Excellence Mindset: Strong focus on automation, monitoring, lifecycle management, governance practices
