Job Title External Manufacturing Leader Job Description Lead execution across a complex global third-party manufacturing network within a highly regulated medical device environment. Your role: Strengthen infrastructure, elevate operational rigor, and build scalable processes across a global spend portfolio supporting external manufacturing partners Manage multiple CMOs simultaneously—operating at both the site and strategic levels Own the operational performance of a global network of third-party manufacturers, ensuring execution excellence across supply continuity, quality, cost, and delivery Build a strong interdependent relationship across the CMO partners, and engages with site and business leadership with high degrees of collaboration Driving End to End supply chain execution and performance accountability You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or 3+ years of experience with a Master’s degree. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in process development or manufacturing engineering preferred Your skills include demonstrated experience with electromechanical medical devices, strong knowledge of medical device regulations, quality systems and manufacturing validation requirements, ability to manage cross-functional teams, ability to influence at senior leadership levels, scalable processes from development to high-volume manufacturing You have Bachelor's / Master's Degree in mechanical, biomedical, electrical or manufacturing engineering.

Master’s degree preferred. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certification You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart.

For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in MN is $134,000 to $212,000 The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN.
