The Logistics Engineer works independently, challenges the status quo, and partners across teams to design and implement effective value stream designs and material flow solutions. Essential Skills: Communication: Effectively communicate to stakeholders across all levels of the organization, both verbal and written.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Efficiently interpret data to identify operational opportunities and to successfully implement solutions. Adaptability and Change Management: Actively drive change by skillfully navigating resistance and by implementing new technologies and lean processes.

Demonstrate a high level of flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced, dynamic business environment. Strategic Thinking and Risk Management Envision desired outcomes and understand how to achieve them. Consistently assess situations and key factors to recognize potential risks and rewards

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Design and analyze material flow solutions for efficiency and quality optimization. Facility Design: Develop specifications for equipment, material-handling systems
  • warehouse layouts to maximize space and efficiency. Data Analysis: Evaluate logistical processes, develop reporting metrics
  • analyze logistics data to set operational goals and support cost forecasting. Technology Integration: Evaluate and integrate technologies such as route navigation software, ERP/WMS systems
  • tracking devices (RFID/GPS) to improve shipping and handling. Continuous Improvement: Lead cross-functional teams in implementing supply chain improvements and supporting operational transformations. Sustainability and Compliance: Develop reverse logistics management processes and ensure supply chains comply with environmental certification and legal standards. Project Management: Quantify and communicate project results, including progress, cost savings

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration
  • a related field. 3+ years of supply chain experience, ideally in lean manufacturing environments. Comprehensive material flow and value stream design knowledge, incl. layouts. Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain software. Preferably SAP WM module. Strong knowledge of lean logistics and production principles as well as their practical applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze business processes
