As a Pathfinding Device Integration Engineer, you will work at the forefront of semiconductor innovation, applying device physics and materials science to evaluate and develop future memory technologies.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, designing experiments, and translating novel concepts into data-driven solutions. You will partner with multidisciplinary teams to drive technology decisions that influence future scaling, performance, and manufacturability

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate novel device concepts and material systems to enable future scaling and performance improvements Lead technology integration efforts by aligning device architectures with process development strategies Design and execute R&D experiments to optimize device performance and manufacturability Analyze inline, parametric
  • probe data to understand device behavior, variability
  • performance drivers Collaborate with process, modeling
  • design teams to communicate technical findings and guide development decisions Minimum Qualifications: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics
  • a related technical field 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience in device engineering, integration
  • related areas Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and process integration Demonstrated innovation through patents, publications
  • product-relevant technical contributions Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced semiconductor technology nodes or emerging device architectures Working knowledge of semiconductor design, architecture
  • R&D pathfinding environments Experience with TCAD, physics-based simulation
  • materials characterization techniques Experience leading cross-functional technical development efforts in advanced semiconductor R&D Experience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection
