You will ensure that watching content on Prime Video is delightful and consistent across every device and content type, with end-to-end ownership of product, user experience, design, and technology. Prime Video's scale and selection are unprecedented: you will define customer experiences used by millions of viewers, across hundreds of Living Room and Mobile devices, in more than 250 countries. You will help shape the strategy and vision, then build and execute the product roadmap to deliver it. This role is inherently cross-functional. You will work closely with science, engineering, program management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market and grow our customer experience. You will join Prime Video APAC, which covers India, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), South-East Asia (SEA), and Japan. As the product leader partnering with regional business leaders and their teams, you will develop a deep understanding of local customers, think big, and drive a strategic vision: building solutions for local needs that can scale worldwide. You will own product roadmaps and requirements, and collaborate with product and tech teams across the globe to deliver them. We are looking for a customer-obsessed Technical Product Manager with a strong track record of ownership and proven results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key job responsibilities - Develop a deep understanding of the Prime Video customers and the current viewer experiences. Experience running voice of the customer programs to guide product decisions. - Develop a thorough understanding of the digital video market segments, and continually assess the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends. - Partner with key stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, roadmap and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance a best in class digital video customer experience. - Own the development of detailed product requirements documents. - Work cross-functionally with science, engineering, design, and project management teams to deliver on the product roadmap. - Drive projects, products, and feature launches with other teams both inside and outside of the Prime Video team including: marketing, content acquisition, legal, finance, customer service, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience technical product management - 8+ years of technical product or program management experience - Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams - Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority - 4+ years of end to end product delivery experience
