- Job Summary
- The Team
- We are building a global Talent Acquisition function to support Graphcore growth across multiple regions.
- This role will lead Talent Acquisition across India, ensuring delivery against hiring plans while operating in line with our global approach.
- You will act as the bridge between global strategy and regional delivery - translating global direction into something that works locally, while feeding regional insight back into the wider Talent strategy.
- You will be responsible for hiring performance across the region: ensuring the team is on track, identifying challenges and putting the right plans in place to improve delivery.
- Leading a small team, you will combine people management responsibilities with hands-on recruitment delivery, personally managing selected vacancies and supporting business-critical hiring activity.
- This role is a mix of leadership, operational oversight and hands-on problem solving. It requires someone who knows how to run a high-performing recruitment team, while adapting to the realities of the local market.
- Key Responsibilities
- Regional Hiring Delivery & Performance
- Lead delivery against regional hiring plans, ensuring roles are filled in line with hiring targets and aligned to GC culture and values
- Partner closely with leadership and hiring managers, providing market insight, hiring data, and recommendations to influence hiring decisions
- Track pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-hire and overall delivery performance
- Identify risks, gaps or bottlenecks, taking action to resolve them quickly
- Personally, managing some vacancies, delivering end-to-end recruitment
- Proactively source, engage, assess and manage candidates through the recruitment process
- Partner directly with hiring managers on recruitment strategy, talent mapping and market intelligence for key positions
- Ensure the team is prioritising effectively and delivering a strong candidate experience
- Provide regular updates to the Head of TA on regional performance, risks and mitigation plans
- Step in to support critical or complex hires where needed
- Team Leadership & Enablement
- You will lead and support the regional TA team to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Set clear expectations around performance, accountability and ways of working
- Ensure agreed processes and systems are being used consistently
- Identify capability gaps and put the right training and support is in place
- Managing external partner and contractors, ensuring alignment to hiring standards and processes
- Balance team leadership responsibilities with personal recruitment delivery, acting as a role model for best practice hiring
- Global Alignment & Regional Adaptation
- Act as the regional TA representative, contributing to global projects and strategic initiatives e.g. embedding company values, process improvement and hiring training
- Translate global Talent Acquisition strategy into a clear, practical regional approach
- Providing insight on regional market conditions, hiring trends, competitor landscape, sourcing strategy, compliance requirements and local nuances
- Manage regional agency and vendor usage, identify opportunities to improve and ensuring effective spend and hiring support
- Ensure adoption of global tools and processes [greenhouse/LinkedIn/Insights/Sourcing tools/AI Agents].
- Skills & Experience
- We are looking for someone with strong experience as a people leader within Talent Acquisition, who can deliver against hiring plans and bring structure and clarity to a growing organisation. You will be hands on, organised and comfortable switching between operational delivery and strategy.
- Key experience
- Experience recruiting within the semiconductor industry or a scaling technology business
- People leadership experience
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills and ability to influence across different levels
- Experience managing or mentoring recruiters, sourcers and coordinators and external partner
- Strong understanding of recruiting metrics, pipeline management and hiring performance and using this information to develop the team or improve the hiring process
- Ability to operate within a global framework while adapting to local markets – closely collaborating and aligning to the HQ in UK
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving environment
- Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, including sourcing, assessment, offer management and stakeholder partnering
- Desireable
- Experience recruiting for silicon, Test, software or other similar technical roles
- Experience leading a small TA team in a global organisation
- Experience building talent pipelines and proactive sourcing strategies for highly specialised technical talent
