We're looking for a Finance Manager who is curious about how it all works and motivated to make it work better. What you'll do You'll join a highly visible team embedded within Transportation operations, working shoulder to shoulder with Operations and Technology leaders to: -Learn how our network operates at the most granular level and translate that understanding into financial insight -Partner with business leaders to build the business cases behind network investments and cost initiatives -Drive programs and projects from concept through execution, measuring tangible impact on both our P&L and the customer experience -Surface inefficiencies and opportunities that others miss, collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn analysis into action -Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis and elevate the quality of recommendations you bring to the table What makes this role different This team takes pride in operational excellence — not just in the numbers we produce, but in how deeply we understand the operations behind them. - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics
- a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- MBA and 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis
- recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements
- customer benefits) experience - MBA
- CPA - Knowledge of SQL/ETL - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting
