Associate Scientist - ECEP Program Build our future together: At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. We are seeking highly motivated Associate Scientists to join Regeneron's Early Career Exploration Program (ECEP).

This program is a full-time opportunity for former Regeneron interns graduating with a BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Chemistry, or a related field to find a full-time home at Regeneron post-graduation. The ECEP provides participants with the chance to explore multiple positions across Regeneron's Research & Pre-Clinical Development (R&D) function, all while building strong foundational knowledge in biotechnology.

Participants will be placed in assignments 3–6 months in length, covering for colleagues on leave of absence, with opportunities to explore multiple R&D functions. The program runs for up to 2 years before participants are expected to find a permanent placement.

This is intended to be a small cohort, aimed at building a strong entry-level talent pipeline for Regeneron R&D. Participants will have a centralized manager guiding them throughout their journey, providing advice, mentorship, and other developmental opportunities.

We hope you are excited by the opportunity to work with numerous functional groups to develop innovative approaches for tackling some of the most challenging therapeutic discovery projects being pursued at Regeneron. When & where: Location: Tarrytown, NY, On-site Discover your role: There is no "typical" day for our ECEP participants, but below are some examples of what you may do during your assignments: Conducting basic laboratory work including pipetting, culturing, and qPCR Working with automated systems, including robotic liquid handlers Maintaining cell cultures Assisting with small and large-scale protein expression using bacteria, insect cells, and other systems Participating in journal clubs and data presentations Performing routine molecular biology techniques such as plasmid and bacmid purification and baculovirus production Performing protein biochemical analysis Conducting protein purification (affinity, ion exchange, and size exclusion) and biochemical/biophysical analysis Analyzing experimental data and assessing quality Writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) Maintaining adequate inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents This role requires: A current undergraduate senior, graduating with (or having earned) a BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Chemistry, or a related field by Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 Hiring preference given to former Regeneron R&D interns A passion for science and innovation, with a strong dedication to continual improvement Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment to discover lifesaving medicines for people with serious medical conditions The desire and ability to work on multiple projects in parallel Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and maintain confidentiality A growth mindset, with willingness to be flexible and work in an ever-changing environment Comfortability with ambiguity Does this sound like you?
